From the age of best, Natasha Henstridge wants to become a model. Her beauty, stature, and determination have brought her attention and fame in acting as well. Natasha T. Henstridge was born on August 15, 1974, in Springdale, Newfoundland, and Labrador.

She is the daughter of Helen and Brian Henstridge, who rais her in a trailer park in Fort McMurray, Alberta. While growing up, Natasha repeatedly told her mother that she wants to become a model. Tired of hearing her talk about it, her mother enrolls her in a summer tryout at the John Casablanca Centre in Edmonton when Natasha was 13.

She was chosen runner-up in the agency’s “Look of the Year” contest. Her photos, which were sent to New York City, resulting in her winning an international contest in Paris, France. At the age of 14, Natasha head to Paris, France to pursue her modeling ambitions.

When she was 15, her face was featured on her first magazine cover, the French version of Cosmopolitan. While modeling in France gave Natasha the recognition that she deserves as a beautiful woman, she became bored with the routine and want to be challenged, so she turns to something more exciting and creative acting.

Her movie debut was in the film Species in which Natasha plays the role of “Sil,” a genetically engineer Alien/Human Hybrid in 1995. This movie was an instant success but, unfortunately, many of her following movies were not as successful. During 1998, Natasha had roles in a variety of films.

The film Bela Donna was a romantic drama that took place in Brazil, Species II was the sequel to Species, and Dog Park was a comedy about young adults who met while exercising their dogs in a local park. During the year 2000, Natasha plays the role of mob moll Cynthia Tudeski, who was the wife of a mob hitman in the film The Whole Nine Yards, and, in 2004, she was involved in its sequel, The Whole Ten Yards, which fail miserably at the box office. 

Her biggest hit movie came with 2001’s Ghost of Mars in which Natasha plays an intergalactic cop sent to Mars to transport a dangerous prisoner back to the United States. She also played in the romantic comedy A Girl, Three Guys and a Gun and in Kevin of the North, in which Natasha plays the role of a young woman involved in the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race.

In 2002, she plays the role of Judith Exner in the film Power and Beauty, who claim that she had a love affair with a famous president of the United States. During 2003 and 2004, Natasha was involved in the television series She Spies. She plays the role of Cassie, one of three convict felons who have been parol from prison to work as secret operatives for the U.S. government.

During 2005 and 2006, Natasha plays the role of Jayne Murray, the chief of staff for the United States Speaker of the House, in the TV series Commander in Chief. The show only lasts for one season. Natasha also stars in the television movie Widow on the Hill, where she plays the role of a young nurse who becomes the wife of a wealthy widower who dies suspiciously.

In 2007, Natasha was involved in the production of a film called Anytown as a news anchor covering the racial attack of an Indian-American boy. Natasha is still heavily involved in movies and television films and makes appearances on various television shows. She has two boys, named Tristan and Asher, and lives happily in Los Angeles, California.
