Usher was born Usher Raymond on October 14, 1978, in Dallas. Within a year of his birth, his parents divorced and his mother moved with Usher to Chattanooga, Tennessee. There, he was encompassed by an extended family that included grandparents, aunts, uncles. According to his mom. Usher was a mischievous kid who was always getting into trouble. Usher’s interest in show business began at an early age. Singing became his constant hobby. as other pastimes. such as basketball or football, never kept his focus for long.
